The Five Wisdoms are integral aspects of being fully human: about our self, relationships, and world.
They foster inherent wisdom, cultivate personal integration,
and align our deepest values with our life and work.
This course is to:
Train teachers who will have their own students.
Train professionals in using the Five Wisdoms in their work:
Therapy, coaching, social work, health professions...
Education, leadership, business, martial arts, creative projects...

PREREQUISITES
- Five Wisdoms Training graduate
- A deep personal understanding of Irini's Five Wisdoms books and workbooks
- Five or more years of Buddhist study and practice
- Ongoing practices of mindfulness/awareness meditation, tonglen, a mind/body discipline, Invoking the Five Wisdoms, and Five Wisdoms posture practice
- Show sanity, stability, depth of understanding
- Previous experience in working with people
BECOME AN AUTHORIZED ASSOCIATE TEACHER
- Teacher Training for one year meeting every two weeks (2 absences allowed)
- A thorough understanding of the Five Wisdoms Teachers Manual
- Embody the Five Wisdoms body of teachings and put them in your own words
- Have an audience: make connections to a group to whom you can begin teaching
- Clarify whether you will be teaching online or in person, or both
- Connect with the participants and pay close attention to their experience
- Process emotional energy that arises in a group
- Self-evaluation and teacher evaluation at the end of the year
- Attend Teacher Training periodically to go deeper
Professional Applications and Teacher Training Request
Please submit this request and an application form will be sent to you.
The Training is facilitated by Irini in a group consisting of around six people.
The group meets every other week for one hour on Zoom.
Dates and Times are scheduled for each group as it forms.
A fee of $225 is paid ever quarter: January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1.
